About the roleSupporting our dedicated Design Research team, your focus will primarily be on participant recruitment and scheduling. You’ll also work collaboratively with the product design research team to help systemise processes and utilize tools effectively; helping tofind new tools which could benefit productivity and processes.

What you'll do

  • Recruit participants at Xero
  • Work with our Researchers, Product Managers, and Designers to coordinate project timelines and research requests.
  • Contact potential participants
  • Screen participants
  • Scheduling
  • Communicate with participants before and after studies
  • Handle participant compensations
  • Maintain our participant panels
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Coordinate systems and logistics for research sessions.
  • Store customer data to meet privacy commitments to our customers.
  • As a team, evaluate current process, make recommendations for improvement, and implement improvements.
  • Maintain current research tool licence requests.
  • Work as part of a centralised Research Ops team.

What you'll bring with you

  • Experience in administrative duties, project management, process improvement, or a related field is helpful.
  • Any experience supporting a UX research team is a bonus.
  • Extremely organized and detailed self-starter work ethic
  • Ability to work across multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with some ambiguity and the foresight to create a plan B before it’s needed.
  • Active listening and systems-thinking; heading off issues as we scale.
  • Passion for effective and timely internal and external communication.
  • Great people skills
  • An optimistic get-stuff-done mindset
  • Top notch writing skills
