We are looking for an experienced product manager who is passionate about the disruption that DLT/blockchain can bring. You will lead a product team that aims to redefine R3’s go-to-market product offering for some our largest customers. You will work with a multidisciplinary  team of product, engineering, sales and internal stakeholders to define and implement product roadmaps, conduct customer research, and apply design thinking methodologies to iterate on product features. This is an exciting opportunity to work on creating a new flagship B2B product and improve existing services and offerings by applying innovation methodologies.
Product Managers at R3are responsible for building business and pricing models, identifying moves to grow the business in current and adjacent markets, representing products to customers and the market. The ultimate measure of your success is the success of your products in the market. Driving the product roadmap and detailed functionality to best capture the opportunity at hand you realize a product strategy is a balance of technical capability, user experience, market forces and customer needs.
You will be the representative of our stakeholders inside the product organization and ensuring their success is your first job. As the hub for inputs on competitive insights, market forces such as pricing and the business models of our ecosystem you will  be accountable for more than a set of features but the overall go to market strategy.
Juggling the competing demands of stakeholders should come natural  as you are able to clearly communicate our ability to meet and deliver against requirements in a manner that allows our stakeholders to craft their own plans in confidence. You translate this into a clear roadmap and communications to individual stakeholders.
As a clear communicator, you will ensure your peers in Product Marketing are able to best show the market Corda’s unique ability to solve their issues and open new opportunities.  You will ensure our stakeholders know the direction of our solution but know when to hold a few surprises.
You are at the center of many roles that will place demands upon you while you in turn need to influence the direction of those roles. As a passionate advocate of your customers you’ll work not only to define specifications but to coordinate the organization to deliver those to market in the most impactful manner.
Being results oriented you will shape, measure and improve against the KPIs that will lead to the greatest adoption of our solutions.  You will design experiments and feedback loops for continual improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Product Development
  • Lead the development of a minimum viable product based on validated data and proof points, using design thinking methods for iterative agile delivery.
  • Research and help define use case  journeys to be implemented by  product and engineering teams
  • Combine both qualitative and quantitative methods for problem discovery and validate desirability, feasibility, and viability aspects of potential solutions.
  • Capture and generate ideas  that  may  exist  outside  the  immediate  view  of  the stakeholders to drive the broad, revolutionary capabilities  of the product.
  • Consolidate uses cases into  granular  requirements that can be understood in a consistent framework and architecture.
  • Establish and drive OKRs related to the product.

  • Stakeholder management
  • Act as the interface to  the product  team  for engaging  stakeholders on inbound product requirements.
  • Ensure the product is delivered on time and meets the needs of stakeholders with consensus on product direction.
  • Work in partnership with the product marketing, services and ecosystem teams to deliver this knowledge to broader audiences.
  • Manage the outbound product communications  including  the roadmap as well as specific commitments on features to stakeholders.
  • Design Thinking and Innovation Methodologies
  • Champion design thinking and innovation methodologies internally
  • Define and run experiments with senior internal stakeholders for design thinking processes
  • Apply human-centered design principle  to improve R3 Corda product offerings
  • Facilitate innovation workshops that help internal stakeholders identify opportunities for innovation
  • Customer Research and Analysis
  • Create collateral that can be used to describe new products and offerings to enterprise customers
  • Ongoing  gathering of use cases that will help create the best solution for distributed ledger technologies in our target market satisfying the needs of varying stakeholders
  • Analyse and refine  strategies to uncover insights and trends, and to prioritise growth strategies for customers and partners
  • Establish, track and continually adjust the products and network services based on a designed feedback loop and experiments.

Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years product management experience
  • Creative problem solver, often considering unorthodox yet feasible ways to push the design, and sharing these with others
  • Prior experience and/or strong interest in blockchain, technology, startups, or fintech preferred
  • Experience with taking complex technology products from conception to launch
  • Experience with agile product development practices
  • Must understand the sales and marketing process for enterprise solutions
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with solutions for the financial industry
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities
