Sr. Product Manager – Payment Integration

We’re seeking an enthusiastic, focused, and experienced Product Manager possessing proven business acumen and technical/technology expertise to join our growing Product team. You will be working on programs and initiatives for global restaurant brands in the quick service and casual dining space.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years’ experience:
    • As a product manager/product owner in a fast-paced technology environment
    • Analyzing, clarifying and translating business/functional requirements
    • Documenting current and future state business process flows
    • In technical troubleshooting and problem solving
    • Coordinating/managing enterprise scale SaaS based software solutions
    • Managing scope of work, and change management efforts
  • Knowledgeable, and hands-on expertise in:
    • Business process and data analysis, functional design, modeling, product development processes, and software testing
    • Building payment integrations from concept to launch
    • Building a practice or culture of product management (not just ship a product but ship the right product)
    • eCommerce - transactional systems experience either building apps that plug into one (integration) or the ecommerce/transactional platform itself
    • Technical enough to win the respect of the developers and not get snowed, or make me repeat myself a hundred times
    • Developing and managing product roadmaps - if they don't tell you any prioritization strategies, that's a red flag
    • Writing and publishing release notes and product feature docs - not as trivial as it seems
    • Mobile App experience a total bonus -- launching in the App Stores 
  • Customer focused with high quality standards
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience working directly with or in a consultative role with a SaaS based, e-commerce organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of work

  • Actively engage with business users and key stakeholders, external and internal, representing the Tillster business, operations, and technology to drive business requirements definition­
  • Externally, represent Tillster and its business, products and services offering, and internally, be a balanced advocate of the business needs of clients and key stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • Requirements gathering, gap analysis, writing business and technical specifications
    • Assessing and managing scope of work, decomposing high level business requirements and developing lower level stores/tasks
    • Testing and monitoring for client/stakeholder/user satisfaction and resolve issues related to an application
    • Understanding and developing business process workflows and how they are supported through existing products
    • Accurately analyzing critical details of business issues and opportunities to understand and define impact and workarounds, and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Coordinate across various cross-functional teams and stakeholders, for the identification and prioritization of needs, and articulate business impact and workarounds
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and business users
  • Lead business users and stakeholders in a forum where product enhancements are reviewed and rated based on a priority assessment, in preparation for release planning and development
  • Create user training and on-going support documentation, and facilitates training sessions
  • Work both independently and in a team setting while delivering high quality work in a consistent manner in an Agile/Scrum environment
