Join our team to create experiences and tools that help brands and businesses to tell their stories and reach Spotify listeners. In this role, you’ll help build and evolve Spotify Ad Studio, our self-service advertising tool.
You’ll join a cross-functional group working on key strategic and growth efforts for Spotify – looking critically at how to market the tools that we build for advertisers and by crafting outstanding experiences that help grow the Spotify advertiser ecosystem. We strive to deliver valuable, understandable experiences that provide real value to customers of all sizes. We balance what’s good for business and our users, with the need to champion, empower, and protect our listeners and the content they come to listen to. We empower advertisers of all kinds to become the creators themselves!

What you'll do

  • You will sit at the intersection of marketing and product teams—partnering with subject area specialists across these teams to create user experiences that educate, engage users and move them to act while building systems that enable our marketing and content partners.
  • Together with your squad, you will be responsible for the user experience and design of our external marketing website that helps deliver on key business objectives. We are focused on driving acquisition, customer activation and product education. We hope to drive content engagement to scale our growing advertising business while delivering a user-centric product.
  • With your cross-functional peers and fellow designers, you will help to set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate. Our design projects span across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches.
  • We let our users lead the way. We focus on listening to users, and letting their needs guide us to the best solutions.
  • You will work with small multi-disciplinary teams. Together, you will partner closely with engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges.
  • You have the ability to align multiple stakeholders and consider all feedback critically.Produce an array of divergent, human-focused approaches advised by user needs, business objectives and technical capabilities.

Who you are

  • A product designer who takes pride in designing for Growth.
  • At least 4+ years of experience designing at consumer or B2B -focused tech or media companies; delivering best in class design as a UX designer, information architect, interaction designer or similar.
  • Bonus if you have experience in Advertising ecosystem contexts.
  • You care about communication and employ storytelling to paint a picture, build common understanding, set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts.
  • A systems-thinker who loves to create simple and elegant experiences for complex products and considers every facet of the user journey.
  • An excellent teammate, communicator and facilitator.
  • Your head is in the clouds while your feet are on the ground. You love thinking big, and at the same time, you know when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail.
  • You are an analytical designer with a range of skills, including visual design, prototyping, content strategy, UX research and experimentation.
