The Line Haul Network Engineering and Product Development team, within Amazon Transportation Services, is looking for an exceptional, motivated, analytically minded leader with a strong delivery record to manage a team dedicated to building and owning new products and capabilities for increased speed and efficiency across all of our Middle Mile Transportation connections within our dynamic, fast-paced business. We are looking for a versatile and passionate leader to define the vision for network engineering and product development and develop industry leading processes and products, leveraging cutting-edge technologies that set the bar for every other company.

You will have a direct impact on the bottom line of our business while improving customer delivery experience. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Drive vision and team’s comprehensive product roadmap
· Deep dive and define new products, leveraging Amazon technology, which asses package flows across connections and nodes, generating automated, crisp and actionable recommendations for improved efficiency
· Consistently and relentlessly discover inefficiencies and create short term solutions which can be tested and assessed for integration into the mid and long term product roadmap and prioritized based on value to the business
· Partner with key stakeholders across Amazon Transportation Services including the Sort Center Planning team, North American Transportation team, Air, External Freight and Intermodal teams, along with future customers such as Inbound and Wholefoods to gather, vet and generate holistic network requirements and paths to solution
· Define, build and own input metrics which assess current efficiency across connections and flows as well evaluate existing and new products and processes
· Own the weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews for Network Engineering and Product Development
· Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control
· Create and execute go-to-market plans for new features

Basic Qualifications


· Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as mathematics, engineering, economics or computer science
· 7+ years in product management and/or owning a P&L/business function, driving large-scale, consumer-facing products or programs
· A strong understanding of technology with proven results in software development as an engineer, product manager, or other technical role

Preferred Qualifications

· Strong Learn and Be Curious; prototyping, testing and iterating are key to discovering what’s next
· Demonstrated agility across a host of skill sets, including customer definition, new product strategy and execution, business analytics, and running day-to-day business operations
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· MBA or Master’s degree in quantitative field such as mathematics, engineering, economics or computer science
