Brief Overview:

The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the Marketing department. Amwell is looking for a strategic, analytical and creative product marketing manager who can successfully manage bringing new products and services to the market. You’ll gain deep insights into target customers, partner cross-functionally to implement new products, positioning and packaging, and drive marketing plans. We’re looking for a leader who easily builds relationships across the organization and with clients. The role is an excellent opportunity to build and grow new B2B and B2C products across all areas of healthcare, at a fast-growing company that’s positioned at the forefront of healthcare’s future.

Specifically, the Product Marketing Manager will:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product, strategic solutions, channel management and clinical services teams to define target customers and needs
  • Define packaging strategies
  • Develop and execute go-to-market and launch plans for new products and programs
  • Develop insights on potential customers, competitors, market trends
  • Implement sales and marketing plans for new and existing products
  • Track KPIs and engage cross-functional teams to ensure goals are met
  • Drive revenue for new products and services
  • Create materials and training programs for sales and account teams
  • Develop product marketing content, such as webinar decks, eBooks, white papers, case studies
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization (strategic solutions, business development, sales, product management, clinical services)



  • 5-7 years of marketing experience, with increasing responsibility
  • 2-3 years of healthcare industry experience is ideal; other helpful backgrounds include marketing in a fast-paced tech environment, product management or management consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree required and MBA preferred
  • Depth and breadth of marketing and product experience, particularly in software and/or healthcare
  • Analytical abilities – experience with data analysis. You’ve built comprehensive data/financial analysis models and have extensive experience in driving decisions from data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong project management skills
  • Drive and ambition, combined with a positive attitude
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, tech environment while managing different stakeholders
