We are looking for a UX Product Design intern who is passionate about design and research. This person is responsible for assisting the UX design team through the end to end design process including research, ideation, wireframing, documentation, and testing. The ideal candidate will be a natural collaborator and problem solver who possesses a high intellectual curiosity, thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and can strike a balance between creativity and feasibility.
This role will report directly to the UX Product Design lead and be closely aligned with our Product organization to ensure consistent information flow across all areas of the product. This is a temporary position with the possibility of converting to a full time position.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Participate in the end to end design process from discovery research, ideation, wireframing, usability testing, and creating detailed documentation for development.
  • Actively collaborate with  product owners and engineers from problem definition to release
  • Build interactive prototypes in Figma to be tested with users and shown for marketing demos
  • Conduct UX research and competitive analysis in order to inform design decisions
  • Create information architecture assets such as site maps, annotated wireframes, and user process flows when necessary
  • Continually engage with a cross-disciplinary team to solicit feedback and additional insightsUtilize existing design patterns while also exploring improvements to the design system
  • Simplify complex workflows to create an elegant and intuitive experience
  • Advocate for the end user by helping stakeholders understand the needs, challenges, and wishes of current and potential customers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Degree  in design,  HCI,  psychology or related experience
  • Experience in user experience architecture, user research, and user testing
  • Evidence of complex problem solving and communication skills
  • Understanding of SaaS and enterprise platforms
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Online portfolio demonstrating your design process
  • Experience in the healthcare industry a huge plus
  • Knowledge of designing for accessibility a plus
