We're looking for a full-time Product Analyst to strengthen the Utrecht office for our newly-boosted team. From our Utrecht office we’re exploring opportunities for our expansion plans within Europe and beyond. 
We must experiment fast, be data driven and make the right strategic decisions. As product analyst of the transactional experience team, you will be working together with a product owner, product designer, three frontend and two backend engineers on improving the heart of the product: the transactional experience! 

In this position, you’ll:

  • Partner up with product management, engineering and product design peers to define problems and goals, come up with solutions, fast and pragmatic implementation and eventually reach company objectives
  • Your focus will be on improving the transactional experience which entails: shipping experience, payment experience, KYC, after-sales (including customer support) and trust & safety
  • During the weekly squad meeting, you present insights to the team, share the performance across key metrics and report back on the commercial impact of previous sprint elements
  • You set KPIs, prepare datasets and create dashboarding for your squad’s objectives. You take ownership of onboarding the squad and relevant stakeholders to your dashboards, make sure everyone looks at the same data points and iterate where needed
  • Proactively help the product manager prioritise tactics by providing data insights, understanding causality of complex problems & predicting commercial impact 
  • You conduct end-to-end product analysis and present recommendations via effective presentations
  • Prepare datasets for data-driven features like price recommendations, ML models & the feed
  • You design and track the performance of A/B tests and help the team to understand results across several metrics
  • You collaborate via Github & code reviews with the Lead Product Analyst & business analyst in our Looker environment

About you:

  • 3-5 year of experience in BI, bonus for a marketplace or scale-up environment
  • Highly business-result-oriented and comfortable with iterative processes
  • You take full ownership and know how to get things done! 
  • Dream in SQL, bonus for Python 
  • Experience in using reporting tools as a developer (i.e. Looker, QlikView, Tableau or PowerBI)
  • Communicate effectively with people from different levels in the organization: management, developers and customers
  • Perseverance: you are keen to take on new challenges and won’t let go until the goals are reached
