A day in the life
Success in this role will be delivering insights that help the team truly understand the needs and motivations of their customer. You will inform a product vision that makes science and people a natural combination. To do that, customer obsession and collaboration will be essential. You will identify and prioritize the team’s research needs (both stated and unstated), deliver actionable insights quickly and with high quality, and have the experience and foresight to know which methods to use. You will empower a research-led team by guiding the vision, influencing strategy, and delivering on both short- and long-term user needs.

The PeopleInsight team is a collaborative group of Business Analysts, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers, Software Development Engineers, Data Scientists, Economists, Product Managers, Designers and Researchers that studies a workforce numbering in the hundreds of thousands. Job responsibilities
· End-to-end experience conducting all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
· Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research. Experience conducting quantitative data analysis.
· Experience leading both generative and evaluative efforts
· Effectively communicating durable insights through writing, presentations and conversations
· Demonstrated success influencing product and design decisions with research insights

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in Human-computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar
· 7+ years of hands-on experience conducting applied UX research in an industry setting

Preferred Qualifications

· Graduate degree or PhD in Human-computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar
· Experience with international research
· The ability to understand, analyze, and interpret complex data
· Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
· Self-motivated team player, with refined and assertive leadership skills with a passion for translating data into action
