About the role
Xero was the first cloud accounting software with an open API. Today, Xero users can connect to over 800+ certified app partners that extend the functionality of our core product, let them drive greater business efficiency the cloud, and creates a stickier, stronger product proposition.The App Store team is tasked with developing innovative ways to help Xero customers connect to the apps which help solve their business needs. This is a faced paced & growing team that puts the customer first to ensure a #beautiful outcome for Xero, our customers and app partners. 
We're looking for a talented Product Owner to join our Ecosystem App Store team. As Product Owner, you’ll be responsible for executing our App Store vision and the roadmap, working closely with the Product Manager and our talented engineering team. You’ll be passionate about product and continually look for ways to improve operational efficiencies and user experience. You’ll also build relationships with other product teams at Xero, and proactively bring ideas for best practice back to the team. 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in product-based software delivery
  • Experience working cross functionally in teams spanning departments or geographies
  • Confidence to make the right (and the hard) calls
  • Great communication, relationship building and stakeholder management 
  • A solid track record of addressing customer needs using technology  
  • Hands on experience with Agile
  • Ability to break down complex problemsHandle changing priorities
  • Love for building quality software that delights customers 
  • Build effective relationships across the business  
  • Authenticity, diplomacy and drive
  • Ownership and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
