Degreed is looking for a Product Manager that will enable technologies that empower all of our internal teams. You’ll be key to enabling Degreed to focus on data-driven growth and scalability, as you work alongside key stakeholders and teams across departments to build successful strategies for meeting objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build the vision for internal tooling in close partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Build an outcome-focused product roadmap, manage competing needs and changing requirements under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a backlog focused on impactful initiatives
  • Understand our internal and third-party tech stack, including the products, tools, technical systems, and operational processes that create user and business value, in order to clearly communicate the desired outcome of product work
  • Work with key stakeholders across all departments to understand their priorities and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Capture, analyze and share insights on your product to allow us to continue to make decisions that will resolve problems and lead to growth and cost efficiency
  • Act as the Product Owner to facilitate day-to-day meetings like standups, sprint planning, and grooming to keep everyone aligned and on track
  • Write clear initiatives, epics and user stories based on the product roadmap

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of product management experience using agile methodologies, ideally including experience working closely with data and building internal tools and systems in close partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Experience being thoughtful about the right mix of custom tools, low/no-code development, and third-party integrations to solve problems effectively, efficiently, and at scale
  • Appreciation for human-centered design processes, including thoughtful questioning, true empathy, lightweight testing, and the ability to move from insights to solutions, even in the absence of large sample sets
  • Enthusiasm for close partnerships with designers, engineers, other PMs, and the broader team
  • Strong analytical background, including the ability to break down and work through complex problems and workflows using data
  • Ability to tell a persuasive story and convey information in a digestible format
  • Ability to see the big picture while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with a record of success in a high-growth context
  • Experience working directly with software developers using agile methodologies
  • Experience in project management tools and workflows (JIRA)
