The Alexa team is looking for a Sr Manager of Product Marketing to lead our go-to-market strategy and campaigns to drive adoption of the Alexa hands free capabilities we are launching on the hundreds of mobile phone models that ship globally each year. In this role you will lead a team of marketing managers and product managers to drive discovery and engagement of Alexa on mobile phones globally. This position will have overall business and P&L responsibilities, and be responsible for delivering marketing campaigns that span multiple channels spanning: online, offline, carriers, on device, in app, and more.

This is a highly visible role in the Alexa org, given the huge opportunity in mobile globally, and the ability to drive new to Alexa customers in emerging countries. The right candidate will possess a strong product marketing background, and will have demonstrated the ability to think big and deliver results. You must be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. You will anticipate and remove bottlenecks, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus constraints.

· Own global product marketing and go-to-market for Alexa Hands Free on mobile phones
· Engage with mobile phone manufacturers, cellular network operators, and offline retail partners to drive customer awareness and feature adoption campaigns
· Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, customer adoption, and financial goals
· Manage prioritization and tradeoffs across internal and external customer acquisition initiatives, and ultimately delivering a large number of Alexa users on mobile phones
· Hire and develop a world class team of marketing and product managers
· Establish streamlined business processes across, effective marketing campaigns, and strategic partnerships
· Develop, report, and continually improve business performance metrics

Basic Qualifications

· Experience developing consumer technology marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, and building scalable business processes
· 10+ years in high-tech product/consumer marketing
· 5+ years of experience in content/brand marketing
· Bachelor’s degree
· Experience coordinating cross functional and cross organizational teams
· Experience with partner management

Preferred Qualifications

· A strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives
· Demonstrable history of defining marketing strategy and executional excellence
· Decisive, action-oriented, and able to motivate, inspire, and lead cross-functional teams in different geographies and business units
· Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done
· Strong drive for results, with the ability to manage independently and take calculated risks
· Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
· Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
· Experience working cross-functionally across Marketing, Product Management, Analytics, UX, and Research
