You will be creating the product strategy & roadmap while leading a cross-functional team of engineers and user experience specialists to deliver creative data and analytics solutions to complex and nuanced problems.

What you'll do:

  • Create the vision and articulate the short and long-term strategy for our Critical Event Management (CEM) Analytics portfolio, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and our mission of succeeding through differentiation and value
  • Meet with clients & stakeholders to identify the most impactful problems to solve, develop innovative solutions, successfully launch to key stakeholders, and ensure end-user adoption and satisfaction
  • Develop the product roadmap and manage Scrum team backlog as the Product Owner to deliver prioritized content and capabilities to meet validated customer use cases.
  • Build relationships across Everbridge business units and product teams to prioritize, plan, and execute on shared short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Lead go to market & product launch initiatives, coordinating cross functional activities across product management, engineering, sales, marketing, PR, and operations.
  • Collaborate on release notes, client-facing product documentation, and training material.
  • Prepare for and participate in industry conferences, webinars, customer visits, and user group meetings

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years product management experience, with demonstrated success in defining and delivering data/analytics solutions
  • Software product management experience using agile methodologies
  • Prior experience with and/or understanding of big data, machine learning, and data visualization concepts
  • Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of and experience working in cloud-based data environments and complex technical projects
  • Stays current on trends and emerging needs with regards to data and analytics
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and software development processes in a fast-paced cloud software environment
  • Ability to travel to other Everbridge locations and to client locations (approximately 5%)
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience

Bonus if:

  • Experience with some combination of tools / technologies related to data exploration, analysis, visualization, and BI/reporting such as Tableau, Looker, Snowflake, Kafka, Apache Spark, Redshift, etc…
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Familiarity or experience working with JIRA
  • Experience in the AIOps, IT Service Management, or monitoring & alerting space
  • Experience with GRC or IRM tools such as Archer, MetricStream, IBM OpenPages, etc…
  • Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
