The Podcaster Mission is the team within Spotify responsible for building the best tools for podcast creators. We have two platforms that help us do that: Anchor (the platform that allows you to create, distribute, monetize, and grow a podcast, all for free) and Spotify for Podcasters (the platform that makes it easy to understand and engage with your listeners on Spotify).

What you'll do:

  • Drive product marketing strategies impacting core creator experiences for Anchor and Spotify for Podcasters, from inbound insights' gathering to positioning and messaging, to outbound go to market
  • Set product marketing strategy to inspire more creators around the world to create audio on Anchor/Spotify, making it easy and compelling to do so
  • Translate Anchor and S4P’s value props internationally to empower global audio creation
  • Plan and implement go-to-market strategies for product launches, including positioning, channels, audience segmentation, localization, coordination of creative assets
  • Working cross-functionally across R&D, consumer product marketing, creative, insights, customer support, legal, and trust & safety to ensure cohesive and informed messaging
  • Use data to set goals and take findings from product launches
  • Be a constant advocate for creators and identify areas of product need based on research, qualitative or quantitative 

Who you are:

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in product marketing for a mobile-first, multi-platform product
  • A cross-functional specialist with experience working closely as a trusted partner with product teams
  • Experience working in an international context
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once in a fast-growing environment with constant change
  • Experience launching products to drive measurable success
  • Comfortable with data - experience with Excel, SQL, and Tableau is a plus
  • Ability to quickly connect product features and benefits with user needs and translate into value props and high-quality deliverables
  • A love for podcasting
  • Preferred: Experience working with a creator audience

  • We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
  • Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location and is within working hours
  • Working hours? We operate within the Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration and ask that all be located that time zone
