Do you want to impact the navigation and experience of millions of users? Do you want to provide the right user insights that will enable data-driven decisions? ManoMano manages more than 20 million unique users per month and leverages big data and machine learning to help them find the products and services they need for their home improvement projects. 
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to own, define and develop the strategy of the customer data platform for ManoMano. This team is responsible for taking the user data and their main attributes coming from all sources (eg, user profile, user tracking on the web, in the app, in offline channels), and exposing them in the best possible way to different functional destinations: user account, personalization on the homepage, merchandising and search, recommendation engines, marketing channels (eg, email newsletters, sms, web and app push notifications, paid acquisition campaigns on Google Shopping, Facebook, retargeting with Criteo). It’s a central role to ensure we can leverage our big volume of data and guarantee the performance of the overall platform. It requires a blend of technical skills and user empathy, and especially a big capacity to work effectively with internal stakeholders. 
The job will report to the Group Product Manager, Attract.
Your main missions will consist of 1- Product discovery- Master the problem space of your scope through a deep understanding of the usage of the user data by different internal clients (i.e. the product managers of the visitor tribe), but also by understanding the overall end users needs for personalization on an ecommerce platform.- Work closely with the architects from the visitor/buyer side to understand the overall constraints of the platform in terms of user data flows.
2- Product strategy- Build and nurture the product vision and turn it into a strategy and a well-thought roadmap with your IT lead counterpart: you will make sure that we’re building the right features, with the right priorities, and with a good management of dependencies.- Make sure your team / stakeholders understand and embrace it through your engaging communication - Participate in the long-term thinking of the customer data platform at ManoMano.
3- Product delivery- Ensure the correct delivery of your FT (pace of delivery, quality of delivery) relying on QAs, SMs and junior PMs. Develop ownership and empowerment of your team.- Be obsessed by the impact of the features you ship by setting up clear metrics and measuring them over time.Communicate with your Group PM about important information, alerts, etc. 
Expected profile- You have an engineering degree. You thrive in a startup environment growing (fast). - You have already worked on Big data projects, involving databases with a high volume of data.- You handle ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized, prioritized and structured way. You have excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a product ecosystem. You are passionate about it. - You have great communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level.- We often say about you that you’re an analytical and “customer centric” person. You believe that data should help drive your product strategy.- You are kind, thoughtful and have a natural ability to get things done. You qualify as an “achiever” and a leader.- You understand perfectly the role of a product manager and you embrace the product methodology and culture. - Your English (and French) is perfect.
Bonus points:- You have already worked on personalization topics involving a big volume of data. - You love DIY & Home Improvement and want to profoundly play a role in the reinvention of this market
