The Opportunity Springboard has recently launched courses with our first University Partners, and we’re looking to add a talented Product Manager to support our exploration into new verticals and business concepts! In this role, you will help define the product vision and execute the roadmap for market-driven growth at Springboard. You will build the platform capabilities that enable new course launches, product formats, and partnerships. You’ll manage building out the critical platform infrastructure necessary to build, launch, and maintain courses in different verticals, geographies, and partnerships with universities and businesses. This role requires you to work closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve Springboard’s platform and features. Responsibilities:

  • Work with General Managers of curriculum verticals to grow enrollments in our newly created B2B and B2U programs via new courses launches and product formats
  • Work with our partnerships teams to refine the core product offering, achieve product market fit, and scale our University-partnered programs
  • Inform and execute the platform product roadmap to support product-led growth through new course launches, new course formats, university partnerships, and B2B initiatives
  • Work closely with product design and engineering teams to design and build the platform architecture needed to support the varied use-cases of core consumer audience, university partnerships, and enterprise partnerships
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives with the key stakeholders including GMs, course launch and project management, instructional design
  • Take features from ideation and prioritization, to definition and build, to launch, measure, and iterate
  • Conduct user and market research and identify features to improve your product.
  • Develop a clear understanding of users’ needs through user-centered design
  • Work closely with our remote engineering team to build, test, and ship your features, and with operations to drive adoption
  • Follow through on your features: define, monitor, and report on feature metrics, and recommend iterations or improvements
  • Work with both onsite and offshore team members on all product needs

You...

  • Have 2+ years of work experience in Product Management, ideally at a B2B SaaS startup and come with a technical background (or a strong grasp of engineering concepts & the software development process)
  • Are able to blend data and analytics while fascinated by data, researching and user behavior
  • Are exceptional at product discovery and execution: developing a clear understanding of the problem to solve and efficiently communicating requirements to cross-functional teams, especially engineering
  • Can execute a complex enterprise product roadmap, prioritize features, and execute end to end; build to launch
  • Have strong communication (both verbal & written) and people skills, especially with remote engineering teams and senior stakeholders
  • Are terrific at prioritizing by getting to the crux of the problem/value, make accurate trade-offs, and articulate them clearly
  • Are curious, have an “always be learning” mindset, and put our users first: you’re the biggest advocate for our users in any meeting 
  • Showcase outstanding time management skills to deliver cross-functional projects on time while managing competing priorities

  • Experience within an Agile/Scrum startup company.
  • Demonstrated a passion for education and/or the future of work
  • Worked with global and remote teams before
