Who you are:
The Senior Product Marketing Manager will oversee  the positioning, messaging and launch activities of Geotab products including hardware, software, and third party partners.
What you'll do:
With input from the Senior Manager, Product Marketing & Market Intelligence, this position will ensure all product briefs clearly articulate the value propositions, benefits and key differentiators that are appropriate to specific regions, segments and sales channels.

How you'll make an impact

  • Assign product responsibilities to Product Marketing Managers and Product Marketing Specialists. 
  • Ensure appropriate research has been conducted and documented. Actions/results from research are clearly defined and followed through. 
  • Ensure all required information is completed on all Product Marketing Briefs.
  • With Senior Manager, Product Marketing and Market Intelligence, guide Product Marketing Managers with determining Segment/Regional Nuances in messaging. 
  • Help unblock and issues with completing the Product Marketing Brief.
  • Ensure significant product changes, such as scope creep, deprecation, change in use, change in timelines are documented and socialized in a timely manner.
  • When applicable, collaborate with UX leaders and Product Managers to get feedback from Customers and Resellers on new solutions.
  • Ensure collaboration with Sales Enablement is conducted for all products.
  • Help unblock any issues with Beta, Feature Preview and limited launch programs. 
  • Ensure product launch activities and success criteria with Industry/Segment and Regional Leads, Product Sponsors and Product Managers is documented and executed. 
  • Ensure launch requirement’s status is updated every day in JIRA and Wrike, keeping all stakeholders current on any changes or challenges in meeting deliverable deadlines. 
  • Review Product Market Specialist’s content to help ensure key messages are accurately communicated.
  • Ensure internal and external product training materials are delivered on time.
  • Participate in product postmortems and post-launch assessments. 
  • Support in-life product campaigns when required.

What you'll bring to this role:

  • 10+ plus years experience in a Product Marketing or Marketing role. 
  • Experience in a B2B technology is preferable.
  • Strong business acumen, specifically around business/marketing development.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle is a must have.
  • Highly organized and self-driven.
  • Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
  • Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.
  • Strategic mindset, has a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes.
  • Leadership experience in a team-oriented workplace.
  • Success with coaching and development of employees.
  • A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides.)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
