About the Role
We are seeking a Principal UX Designer to work on customer facing digital shopping experiences in Pharmacy. You will join our growing team of Designers across UX including, UX writing and UX Research. You will work members of the product team to create elegant, intuitive user interfaces that meet this unique customer need. You will partner closely with product, tech and ops partners to successfully go from early stage product concepts to iterations and launches of new features and offerings.

You get excited by to opportunities to change pharmacy (and healthcare) and are interested in, or an active, champion of health equity. You get excited by solving complex challenges and creating simplifying human-centered solutions for customers. You’ve turned ideas from research into sketches and interactive prototypes, and tested them with end users. You’ve helped teams raise the bar on customer experiences and have thrived in ambiguity. As a designer, you love diving into the details as much as you enjoy shaping the larger system.

Responsibilities include:
· Defining and developing the vision for innovative Pharmacy and Healthcare shopping solutions across digital and physical experiences
· Leading creative and holistic thinking across diverse portfolio of Pharmacy features, platforms including driving the direction, style, and methodology of design, accessibility, and access to the service
· Championing cohesion in design across the end-to-end experience, uniting a growing family of programs and features across digital and physical experiences
· Leading cross-team design thinking workshops (inclusive of product, design, tech, and pharmacy operations) and conceptual development; being a strategic thought leader in how to implement unmatched experiences that represent the most customer-centric intersection between design, business, content, and technology.
· Model excellence in design, while growing and developing fellow designers. You would be perfect for this role if you are a systems thinker who thinks big, has experience with end-to-end service offerings and considers the scalability of design
· Delivering experiences that visually provoke and are emotionally captivating
· Crafting holistic solutions for your customers that span the customer shopping journey
· Connecting head with heart to drive empathic and optimistic solutions
· Collaborating closely with a range of stakeholders disciplines and partners

Basic Qualifications

· 10+ years as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role with work grounded in a human-centered design practice
· Experience in service design involving combination of physical and digital spaces and designing large-scale systems and interactions with a large and vast group of stakeholders
· Finely tuned analytical skills. You pinpoint the important information within a sea of quantitive and qualitative data and have the ability to connect the dots to an experience narrative that inspires the organization to drive innovation in healthcare
· Fluency in best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design; ability to provide and effectively communicate strategic and tactical recommendations based on data
· Experience with consumer brands and experience design, and a passion for storytelling
· Finely tuned analytical skills. You pinpoint the important information within a sea of quantitive and qualitative data and have the ability to connect the dots to an experience narrative that inspires the organization to drive innovation in healthcare
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization including proficiency in presenting design work to user experience teams, product and engineering teams, and executives for review and feedback
· A strong portfolio of research based human-centered design that demonstrates solving complex challenges with innovative, customer-centric solutions. Demonstrates proficiency and strengths in areas of interaction, service, systems and visual design

· Ideal candidate would have past experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution
· Experience or interest in health equity and accessibility in healthcare
· Effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries (in particular with operationally heavy businesses) to influence the customer experience and deliver results
· Talent for crafting world-class design solutions that meet the needs of customers and the operation while maintaining experience predicability and patterns
· Experience in quick paced, startup-like environment
· Passion for leading through craft and furthering the role of design within an organization. Ability to develop and mentor design talent
