The Rackspace Strategy & Solutions (RSS) organization is looking to hire an experienced, resourceful Product Manager to drive long term portal & mobile strategy. About the roleYou will take product responsibility for core digital customer-facing experiences such as dashboards, ticketing, billing and account management. With a solid grasp of data analytics, strategy, and Agile methodologies, you will drive enhancement to existing experiences and launch innovative new capability, delivering high-quality outcomes for Rackspace customers.  ResponsibilitiesArticulate value and impact of the Rackspace surfaces portfolio at a product, technical and organizational level, driving customer confidence in our digital capabilityDevelop very strong working relationships with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders to determine and clarify requirements, work priorities and scopeCreate and own delivery roadmaps based on business priorities with a reliable release strategy and scheduleBreak down complex problems into clear, simplified requirements that deliver demonstrable customer value as early as possible Prioritize across different domains (UX, technical and business) to maximize product value Steer our delivery effort against agreed customer success metrics, understanding dependencies, risks and impactEnsure our teams are consistently equipped with the right information to deliver high quality outcomesDefine, analyze and react to product metrics (such as analytics, A/B testing) to steer development directionOwn & refine the customer feedback system, building an actionable understanding of how our customers operate in the cloud
A good fitYou’ll have a passion for customers, inspiring products, and great service! You will have at least 5 years of experience working with Agile software delivery teams as a product manager, product owner or a similar role.From a team alignment perspective, it is important that you:Are comfortable with emergent design principlesBelieve in MVP-first and fail-fast approaches, building and proving hypotheses with real software and user feedback Understand the difference between Agile, Scrum and KanbanExcellent communication skills (written and spoken English) are essential.

Exposure to cloud-native applications and DevOps methodologies is an advantage as is knowledge of tools typically used by teams employing DevOps methodologies to build cloud-native applications
