Each month, Bazaarvoice sees more than 800 million shoppers read reviews, questions, and answers about millions of products through the Bazaarvoice network.  We have an open opportunity for a Senior Product Manager, Response. In this role, you will make a meaningful contribution to the evolution of our core response workflow  - where brands and retailers respond to shopper questions and reviews - critical to the quality and scope of information available to shoppers as they make their purchase decisions.  
The Response workflow includes both value-add and paid functionality and is undergoing a broad modernization and consolidation initiative. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to shape and deliver a world-class experience for our brand and retail clients. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Cultivate review response and question response workflow experiences and capabilities to delight daily users and response supervisor personas at our brand and retail clients. 
  • Drive the conceptualization, development, and launch of new products for developers and customers. Partner with Product Design and Research to design and test thoughtful experiences.
  • Set the long-term product strategy, vision, and mid-to-long-term roadmap. Develop a rich partnership with your Product Owner and Engineering Manager such that they are well-equipped to deliver on the short-to-mid-term roadmap, which is informed by your mid-to-long-term roadmap and articulated through clear business requirements, market requirements, and user stories. 
  • Be accountable for the long-term success of the product; as measured by client adoption, sales, retention and NPS. Work closely with go-to-market colleagues in product marketing, client success, sales, co-marketing, and support to ensure the success of your products and features. 
  • Ensure that internal, cross-functional teams are prepared to support and drive adoption of new releases; including, developing and/or directing the creation of documentation, training modules, guides, storytelling decks. 
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, and how it impacts the company operations

What you bring to the role:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in product management of software products. If you haven’t worked in B2B, you have strong business acumen and interest in learning about building and commercializing products for enterprise clients.
  • Proven ability to work with engineering to ship products. You know how to establish credibility with your development team, consistently build customer empathy, and manage trade-offs with ease. 
  • Proven ability to manage change - among internal stakeholders and with clients. We are in the midst of an exciting modernization & consolidation effort - you know how to help stakeholders not just accept but look forward to the future state. 
  • Data-driven decision-making - you can pull & analyze data using modern product management skills (beginner SQL, intermediate Excel, fluency in tools like Pendo), you know how to and when to weave in qualitative data from clients and internal stakeholders, and you consistently back up your decisions with the data you’ve gleaned. 
  • You are a natural at building strong working relationships, virtually. In this role, wherever you are you’ll have a meaningful set of your regular collaborators somewhere else. When the world returns to normal, we’ll bring back a bit of travel (~10%) but virtual collaboration will always be critical in this role. 
  • Excellent written communication and collaboration skills to articulate insights as well as presentation skills for meeting facilitation
  • Propensity for action and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously

Nice to Have:

  •  BA/BS in Computer Science or MBA with a product management specialization
  • Experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce technologies
