Nabis is a technology-focused Series B cannabis distribution company supporting 100+ individual brands and supplying more than 99% of California's dispensaries with top-tier products. Our mission is to help scale the cannabis supply chain with software and ultimately become the largest distributor of cannabis products in the world, and we are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager who is comfortable operating at the intersection of product growth and B2B marketing strategy.
Nabis’s first Product Marketing Manager has the opportunity to help architect the marketing foundation at Nabis—they will develop messaging and positioning, create marketing campaigns, build and engage a community of early adopters for new products, and more. They will be responsible for aligning with our Product and Business Development teams to define our target audiences, craft messaging, and activate marketing campaigns to drive both new business and help strategize the expansion of the Nabis ecosystem as a whole. They will own the creation of customer-facing content and collateral to articulate our product value proposition for each audience we serve, which primarily includes cannabis brands and retail dispensaries. 
This is a dynamic role that needs a jack-of-all-trades product marketing expert who can jump in to find and create opportunities for strategic improvements across the entire marketing strategy at Nabis.

The Role

  • Partner with the product and business development teams to gain a firm understanding of new product functionality and be the voice of the customer in helping to shape the Nabis roadmap
  • Own the creation of customer-facing content and collateral to articulate the product value proposition for each audience we serve - cannabis brands and retailers
  • Build strong relationships with all marketing and product stakeholders to develop strategy, content and tactics, and to test new solutions messaging with target audiences and assess effectiveness
  • Analyze our competitor's offerings to identify potential gaps and contribute to Nabis’s competitive intelligence
  • Regularly report on sales, marketing, and product adoption and usage metrics providing insights into changes and implications.
  • Obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, and identify and validate market requirements through data analysis and user feedback
  • Manage the relationship between Nabis and our Marketing agency to strategize press releases, earned media, and moreWork to deeply understand the Nabis ecosystem, the cannabis market, and use this understanding to help our team identify market opportunities for future growth
  • Help our team identify industry trade shows warranting Nabis’s attendance & sponsorship, and oversee booth creation and panel engagement

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • 4+ years in product marketing or a product growth focused role, ideally coming from SaaS or B2B background
  • You have been responsible for crafting, driving, and managing go-to-market strategies across a variety of channels - content, lifecycle marketing, community, etc.
  • You're eager to jump in and get things done and don't get flustered in a fast-paced, uncertain, and often changing environment.
  • You’re a phenomenal communicator and writer, and cross-functional team leader.You are data-driven in how you approach and measure your work, and have experience quantifiably tracking and proving marketing strategy success
  • Are always willing to roll up your sleeves and get into the nitty gritty creative mindset- we are a cannabis company, and traditional marketing is not always an option
