About the Role
As our Product Manager for the Demand Generation platform, you’ll take the wheel in driving end-to-end conceptual and technical product development. With the Transport, Food, and Logistics Strategy teams, you'll devise innovative ways to optimize spending on demand generation strategies, keep track of key product, business and customer metrics, decide which users to incentivize to reduce user churn, and enhance user activation rates. Working with teams spanning across Jakarta, Indonesia, and Singapore, you'll have ample opportunity to join forces with people from all walks of life and specialties, and your efforts will directly enhance the efficiency and scalability for Gojek's demand generation.

What You Will Do

  • Drive product strategy and execute on the prioritized roadmap for demand generation
  • Work with Transport, Food & Logistics strategy team to devise ways to optimize spending on demand generation strategies
  • Define, track, and report on key product, business and customer metrics
  • Partner with the design and user research teams to understand customer problems and identify and iterate on solutions
  • Define clear and well-scoped requirements documents that are easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team to help build machine learning models to improve promotion discovery and redemption
  • Work with our data team to analyze customer behaviors and identify problems and opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in marketing, sales and business to develop launch strategy, product messaging and training

What You Will Need

  • An education background in Data Analytics, Business, or Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience as a product manager, working on marketing tech, user growth, or consumer facing products
  • A self-supporting, proactive, and eager-to-learn attitude; ability to take ownership of assigned tasks
  • An entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed mindset and comfortable working in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and data-driven; ability to rely on data to recognize what’s happening and define & measure success on every project
  • Ability to clearly articulate your thoughts to stakeholders of various levels
  • Experience in Growth teams or as a Data Analyst, Scientist or Software engineer is a plus
About the Team
The Customer Platforms group oversees the core user flows within Gojek’s Customer Apps which services tens of use cases to millions of users. The Customer Incentives team, a vertical of the Customer Platforms group with multiple pods, is in charge of the rewards, promotions, and loyalty programs offered to our end customers. Our team is based in Bangalore and is made up of engineering managers, Product Managers, Developers (Mobile and Backend), and QAs.  Over the last year, our team has been working on introducing a brand new loyalty platform within Gojek, while working with other internal product teams and external groups to build an extensible platform. We’ve also been focused on improving and scaling our rewards and benefits platforms to support the growth of the organization, devising more effective and relatable strategies to increase the net transactions enacted by users across the platform. Currently, this pod has been busy working on a project surrounding subscriptions and user journey improvements, with the goal of enabling our users to better manage various benefits and rewards. Combating remote work has brought us even closer, with frequent catch-ups over tea and sharing ways we have been keeping ourselves sane. Along with our desire to utilize smart technology and innovative engineering strategies to make people’s lives easier, our team also bonds over our shared love for reading, gaming, and drinking lots of coffee. We work hard and play hard, and believe it or not, we actually enjoy each other’s company.
