OpsTech IT provides 24x7 global IT support to Amazon Operations, including Fulfillment, Sortation, Logistics, and Last Mile. We also provide operational support on behalf of key partners including Amazon Fulfillment Technologies, OpsTech Infrastructure Engineering, Amazon Robotics, Amazon Warehouse Control Systems, and Amazon Lockers. Together, we take ownership for what we do — whether supporting IT infrastructure, developing new technology in house, launching a new Amazon Fulfillment Center, or delighting our customers by delivering packages directly to them.

OpsTech IT is looking for a Technical Product Manager to contribute to the success of the Vision Insights programs. They will own product vision, prioritization/roadmap, and requirements, defining KPIs and ensuring they are met, interfacing with stakeholders, launching the products into the field (go-to-market), and closing the loop with user/customer feedback. They actively seek new opportunities/computer vision applications within the broader network and prioritize according to the strategic product and business goals. They work to clarify customer requirements and roll out solutions in a way that minimizes churn in the buildings and ensures compliance with local and regional regulations.

As a Product Manager, you will be a pragmatic visionary that can translate business needs into technology solutions that scale both technically and operationally. You are responsible for driving quality and enabling technical innovation. You will manage evolving / complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other internal organizations. You will draw on customer feedback, usage and operational data, and your experience leading technology businesses to set and deliver on aggressive goals for adoption, operational performance, feature delivery, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities Include

You will also have the opportunity to display your skills in the following areas:
· Drive large scale projects spanning teams across Operations from inception to conclusion, formulate the product vision, define user stories, research appropriate technical solutions.
· Interact with Project Sponsors, Technical Program Managers, other Product Managers, and multiple development teams to define and deliver complex cross-functional projects.
· Clearly communicate vision, plans and project status to management and key technical and business stakeholders.
· Work closely with the software development team on delivering high-quality solutions, and provide guidance regarding architecture, design, and priorities.
· Engage with other teams across Amazon to evangelize the team and your projects, to build relationships and help identify existing technologies that can be leveraged to meet your team’s goals.
· Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs balancing the business needs versus constraints
· Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

· 8+ years of Product Manager experience in a related industry
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
· Experience identifying business opportunities, building a product strategy, and influencing deliver against a multi-year roadmap
· Understands core technologies utilized in their product domain and is fluent in pros and cons of technical alternatives
· Drives alignment and coherent product feature, business, and evangelism strategies
· Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Strong leadership, project planning and execution skills
· Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA preferred
· Cloud management experience
· Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
