SelfMade is looking for an entrepreneurial, yet methodical and analytical Growth Marketing Lead to support leadership in delivering growth across paid acquisition channels for SelfMade clients. In this role - you will build upon your previous experience to further refine one of the most important business skills there is: how to grow promising brands. 
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing and analyzing digital marketing and buying strategies across paid media channels for multiple brands. You will be charged with enabling client growth by driving improvements to core business metrics through brand awareness, traffic, conversion, and retention. 
You must be experienced and comfortable reporting on results and educating stakeholders on various elements of digital marketing. You should also be a clear communicator and have experience working with cross-functional teams. Successful candidates will be familiar with paid acquisition and should be comfortable working with ambiguity and excited by driving results.

  • Build and execute paid acquisition strategies for the brands we work with while working cross-functionality with the rest of the team to drive results
  • Be accountable for and own performance goals across channels - execute creatively to ambitiously set and hit goals for clients while managing relevant stakeholders in the process
  • Oversee ongoing efforts to optimize campaigns and adapt as circumstances change
  • Perform competitive intelligence analyses to identify potential opportunities from competitors that fit client strategy and positioning
  • Manage and advise on budgets, areas of focus, new campaigns, brand image and other brand specific strategies
  • Partner with the team to provide timely reporting and collaborate on strategy and ideas for the brands we work with
  • Fully own integration processes for paid media accounts and collaborate with clients and other stakeholders
  • Act as a leader & expert in digital marketing  - both to internal teams & to external partners 


  • Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, media buying, ecommerce, lead generation, consulting, finance or other data-driven quantitative field
  • Hands-on experience with at least one paid acquisition channel (i.e. Facebook or Google) and the desire to apply your skills across additional channels to build and manage complex funnels
  • Applied working knowledge of key business metrics for DTC brands (i.e. LTV, CAC, AOV, Gross Margin, Customer Retention, etc.)
  • Track record of making impactful data-driven decisions and presenting analysis to stakeholders with varying levels of technical competency
  • Experience prioritizing competing initiatives, setting deadlines, and hitting tight turnarounds through strong organization and project management
  • Understanding the big picture - you are able to contextualize the work you are doing in the context of wider initiatives and how different components work together to drive results
  • Experience with Google Analytics/Shopify/Facebook Ads Manager, etc. to analyze and synthesize data from common platforms across the DTC data stack
