As a Technical Product Owner, you'll work closely with our engineering, product and quality assurance teams to drive the technical roadmap and improvements for one or more of our solutions. You will use your experience, judgement and think out-of-the-box to resolve problems and leverage on opportunities! 

What you'll do

  • Understand business drivers and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to evaluate the product Roadmap and identify "definition of done" for each feature
  • Lead robust, fast (through) inceptions (identify scope, value, solution and release plan) and own prioritised actionable backlogs
  • Drive trade-off decisions in conjunction with external stakeholders while balancing business requirements with technical requirements
  • Refine and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and other technical documentation
  • Analyse industry trends and benchmarking information as they apply to the HCE business model and domain area needs
  • Break high-level information into details and communicate them in simple terms for the relevant audiences
  • Attend stand-ups, sprint planning, and other key meetings for the scrum team
  • Co-own, release, plan and, communicate changes to stakeholders regularly
  • Follow the complete lifecycle of project benefit, including reporting back on adoption, business value and customer satisfaction post go-live
  • Identify blockers that will impact timeline, scope, or other product variables and escalate to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Build strong collaborative relationships

About you

  • 3+ years’ experience in a technical / product owner role within a modern SaaS environment
  • Business analysis in a complex and cross-functional stakeholder environment 
  • Proficient in multiple Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, design thinking, UX, and other frameworks
  • Proven ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (Both verbal and written)
  • Strong team player
  • Preferably a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
