The role
The Product Manager within the Buy Flow team will be responsible for continually improving the experience small business customers have when they purchase a Xero subscription. Ultimately this will result in improved customer conversion rates due to small businesses finding it easier to purchase our software.
The immediate team you would be joining consists of a highly motivated group of people with a cross-functional skill set covering product management, product design, engineering, and data insights. Outside of this there are a range of other teams and functions that provide support in your role.
The  Product Manager  within the Buy Flow  team will be responsible for helping set the vision for the team and continually improving the experience small business customers have when they buy a Xero subscription. Ultimately this will result in improved customer conversion rates brought about because small businesses find it easier to purchase Xero.

This person has:

  • Deep product management experience in an online businesses (SaaS preferred)
  • Spent time optimising funnels/workflows and understands the drivers to improve conversion
  • Agile software development experience
  • Worked with business leaders and stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes
  • Lead software development projects at scale
  • Shaped/influenced the product strategy, roadmaps and long term plans for teams
  • Worked with mixed teams (permanent and contractor) with onshore/offshore development models (preferred)
  • The ability to break down complex problems, deliver real-world business outcomes and handle changing priorities
  • The ability to influence other teams and functions in a matrix environment
  • A love for building quality software that customers love and a deep understanding of design thinking and performance analytics
  • The ablity to work closely with technical and non-technical users in parallel
