The Role
As a Product Manager, you are a critical part of the Product team and will be responsible for driving discovery for our students domain.  You will play an integral role in building and executing the roadmap that will have an impact on thousands around the world.
You will work closely with a world-class cross functional team to manage the full product lifecycle, from problem identification to product launch.  Our Product Managers are passionate about the intersection of user need, design and technology with a knack for simplifying complex problems into elegant solutions that ship! 

What you’ll be doing every day:

  • Working with prospects, customers and the market at large to drive primary research, discovery, insight and recommendations for definition around the students domains  roadmap initiatives
  • Understanding, defining and communication user personas and use cases, understanding user workflows, and articulating the needs of users – you are the customer and user expert
  • Collaborating with the leadership to help prioritize and define evolving product roadmap
  • Connecting across the product, design, dev and QA teams to effectively bring these stories to life within the product offering
  • Coordinating product releases and product lifecycle changes with marketing, sales, operations and support teams
  • Working with sales and marketing on internal and external enablement of targeted product initiatives
  • Being mindful of and supporting primary product objectives as they relate to revenue, new customer acquisition and customer retention

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience, with 3 years as a Product Manager or a similar role
  • Experience with the entire product development life cycle
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA and familiarity with Agile (e.g. SCRUM and Kanban) methodologies
  • Data-driven with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written) and overall project/stakeholder management skills
  • Experience building products from the ground up; from ideation to launch and beyond
  • Prior consumer-facing / B2C product experience with a heavy focus on user experience is highly preferred
