As a Senior Manager, Product Marketing, you will work on a full range of marketing activities including our go-to-market encompassing messaging, positioning, pricing, packaging and AR/PR activities for our Threat Intelligence product line. In addition, you will develop, and execute marketing programs to drive demand and work closely with sales, channel, and product management teams to accomplish this goal while delivering core content to position FireEye as the thought leader in our space across key verticals.
As a Product Marketing Manager, your key areas of responsibility include:
Buyer expert / advocate – Be an expert on your buyers’ problems, their value drivers, how they buy, and how they evaluate critical capabilities; understand competitive alternatives and how to beat them.
Intel messaging and thought leadership – Craft messaging source documents that serves as the single source of truth for all internal and outbound messaging. Craft resonant stories to help underscore our thought leader position in the market; contribute regularly via internal sales enablement, our corporate blog, customer-facing webinars, and social media outlets.
Sales enablement – Evangelize the comprehensive threat intel story to direct and partner sales teams and develop the sales tools needed to support the selling process.
Content creation – Collaborate closely with the global demand center team to guide and develop the ideal content for outbound and digital marketing programs.
Evangelist – Craft and deliver compelling presentations for in-person and online events, not only highlighting your products and the customer problem set, but also trends in the emerging threat landscape that may target your buyer’s industry.
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a B2B cyber security product marketing experience role required, experience with threat intelligence products highly desirable.
Experience with enterprise security products is required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a technical field is required, MBA desirable
Proven ability to develop strongly differentiated product positioning and messaging
Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and strong writing proficiency
Strong sense of team; ability to conceive, initiate, and sell new ideas in a team environment
Strong interpersonal skills to engage credibly with technical and sales communities
Strong internal/external presentation skills are a must; demonstrates creativity and energy in message delivery
Self-motivated, driven and passionate about our ability to solve customer problems.
Pragmatic Marketing certified highly desirable.
Ability to travel (up to 20% of the time)
